Description

Superglass Multi Purpose Acoustic Slab is a lightweight, non-combustible glass mineral wool insulation slab. The slab supplied is 600mm wide to allow easy installation between common stud spacings and minimum on-site cutting and waste. Manufactured at a nominal density of 22kg/m³.

Superglass Multi Purpose Acoustic Slab is designed to provide thermal and acoustic insulation in a number of applications:

• Steel Framing Systems.
• Timber and metal stud partitions.
• Internal separating walls and floors.
• Drylining systems

Superglass Multi Purpose Acoustic Slab provides excellent sound absorption performance in accordance with Approved Document E (England & Wales) and Technical Handbook Section 5 (Scotland) acoustic requirements.

• Excellent sound absorption.
• Provides excellent thermal performance with a thermal conductivity of 0.035W/mK.
• Classified as A1 non-combustible (the highest possible rating).
• Manufactured from up to 84% recycled glass.
• BRE Green Guide Rating of A+ and ISO 14001 accredited.
• Ideal for 600mm stud centres.
