BELGRADE INSULATIONS LTD PASS DISTRIBUTORS CCPI ASSESSMENT!

Nationwide distributor of insulation Belgrade Insulations Ltd have passed the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) Assessment for Distributors.

The aim of the Code for Construction Product information (CCPI) is to raise standards in construction product information and marketing and drive positive culture change in the manufacturing and supply sector in relation to product information and marketing. Ultimately, we seek to move the industry to a place where product information is clear, accurate, accessible, up-to-date and unambiguous.

Amanda Long Chief Executive of CPI Ltd, the not for profit organization set-up to guard and assess conformance with the CCPI, said ‘I am delighted to congratulate Belgrade Insulations on passing the CCPI Distributors assessment. Merchants and distributors play a crucial role in the supply ecosystem of construction products and managing product information. Right now, we are developing a cohort of merchants and distributors who, with CCPI Assessed status, are setting themselves apart from the rest and showing that they are companies that recognise the critical importance of improving the quality and reliability of product information to their customers. This further signals to merchants and distributors that committing to CCPI Assessment is a ‘must have’ for businesses who see themselves as part of the future of sector’.

Belgrade were assessed to confirm they have the necessary product information processes and systems in place to uphold the CCPI, and to demonstrate that the company is committed to adhering to the Code. Belgrade joins a select cohort of organisations who are working alongside the CCPI and proactively support the CCPI mission to deliver a transformational step change in product information management and marketing. The CCPI Assessed Mark for Merchants and Distributors does not indicate that any particular product information conforms with the CCPI or constitutes any statement as to a product’s compliance with any standards of quality or safety. Carrying the Merchant and Distributor CCPI Assessed Mark states a commitment to on-going and continuous improvement of product information in conformance with the CCPI and playing a key role in encouraging manufacturers and suppliers to have their product information CCPI assessed.
